Description Accurascale ACC3279-SIL BR Class 92 - Railfreight Grey Livery DCC FITTED (not sound fitted) OO Gauge ANTICIPATED RELEASE DATED CURRENTLY: Quarter 4, 2026 Completed by Brush Traction in December 1993 and named after H.G. Wells, No. 92002 was tested at Derby, Velim (Prague) and Vienna before returning for the Crewe Basford Hall Open Day in 1995. Officially entering stock at Crewe International in 1996, it initially worked Channel Tunnel traffic to North London, later running West Coast and East Coast Main Line services under EWS. Stored in 2008, it was briefly reinstated after DB Schenker’s takeover in 2012 and hired to Direct Rail Services in 2014, before being withdrawn again. Exported to Romania in 2015 (renumbered and named Lucian Blaga), it later moved to Croatia in 2018 and is now stored at Dunakeszi Works, Budapest. Enhancements include a new detailed rear to the etched side grilles giving a better 3D appearance, a series of bogie detail refinements, etched 'Polo' mint logos for the sides where applicable, and a brand new DCC sound file too. New: Built-in DCC Decoders on all Class 92 models For the first time, each Class 92 model is supplied with a DCC decoder built-in from the factory, giving users the ability to instantly run on DCC and take advantage of the working pantographs, whilst still being able to run perfectly on traditional analogue DC. Accurascale will therefore offer solely the choice of DCC Silent and DCC Sound Fitted models on the Class 92 for the first time available on separate listings on this website.
